London at night

I love taking pictures of London at night. There is so much light in the city that you can really get creative with it. Also, because of the long exposure times, you get the great effect of all the people disappearing from your images. This lends an eerie and deserted feel to the pictures of places that are usually teaming with people. I went out this evening to take a couple of pictures. My two favorites were one of Big Ben: Big Ben at night 5 And a picture of the moon rising over Westminster Abbey: Moon over Westminster Abbey 7 You can find the rest on my Flickr stream, or over at my London blog, Culture Shock.
